Ponraj Arumugam is a Researcher in the Climate Resilience Team. He is an expert in assessing and identifying climate change and adaptation strategies impacts in food system. He applies process-based models, machine learning, and remote sensing data to evaluate climate change impacts. Before joining WUR, he did his doctoral research at Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research, Germany. He also worked in the Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research (CGIAR)’s program on Climate Change, Agriculture, and Food Security (CCAFS), involved in projects crop insurance and climate-smart agriculture.
