I have over 10 years experience in environment and  sustainable natural resources management having worked with international NGOs and United Nations. My research focus is on land degradation-climate change nexus with specific interests in the the role of restoration in delivering climate change adaptation for poor and vulnerable communities. 

Also working on bottoms-up approaches that creates spaces for local communities/beneficiaries to influence and take part in planning, implementation and monitoring of development interventions and ensuring these take into account local aspirations and local knowledge in sustainable management of resources.
