Insa Thiermann has recently completed her Ph.D. in agricultural economics at the Christian Albrechts University Kiel. She previously studied agricultural economics and horticulture in Kiel and Osnabrück.
Her past research focused on structural change in German livestock production. In Wageningen, she will be part of the Horizon 2020 project AgroBRIDGES. AgroBRIDGES empowers farmers through new business and marketing models based on Short Food Supply Chains.
