Biografie

My name is Aytenew Endeshaw Tatek, currently working in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of The Netherlands as Policy officer Water and Climate at the embassy in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. With my current role, I develop project ideas and assess project proposals related to water, climate and FNS for possible funding through our ODA budget. My ultimate goal is to play a vital role in poverty reduction and achieving sustainable development goal in Ethiopia.

 Now I am a PhD candidate at Wageningen University and Resurch through the project 'Governing synergies and trade-offs with SDG15 in Ethiopia: a local-to-global study of landscape restoration in Lake Tana sub-basin'

I am married and a father of three girls.
