Project AMiCC – Wireless Charging of Electric Vehicles (EVs)                 (11/2020 – 03/2021)

Analysed behavioural patterns in EV fleets, to determine the profiles suited for wireless charging. Developed the first wireless charging prototype for taxi operators in Nottingham.

Charging Optimisation in Electric Vehicles                                               (04/2020 – 09/2020)

Evaluated the impacts of increased adoption of EVs on power consumption using agent-based models. Developed strategies for smart charging by balancing load distributions through delayed charging processes.

Renewable Energy Systems Design                                                          (02/2020 – 04/2020)

Designed and assessed integrated renewable energy solutions (Solar PV, Solar thermal collectors, Wind turbines and Storage). Performed a holistic techno-economic optimisation of these solutions.
