Daniela Cajiao, Ecuadorian, is an ENP post-doctoral researcher. Her doctoral research focused on Antarctic tourism, analyzing the environmental and management implications of this activity. Until January 2023, she was a post-doctoral researcher at North Carolina State University in the USA, where she expanded her investigation regarding the social dimensions of Antarctic tourism. At WUR she will continue expanding her research on Antarctic tourism including elements of policy, governance, and decision-making within the Antarctic Treaty System.
