PhD Researcher in Forest Science at the Federal University of Viçosa (UFV), Brazil and Visiting Researcher at Wageningen University (WUR). Maria Paula holds a master's degree in Forest Science (UFV), in the line of research in Forest Management. She graduated in Forest Engineering from the UFV, where she carried out an internship and three scientific initiation projects at the Environmental Economics and Forest Management Studies Group (GEEA) in the Forest Management Laboratory. She has experience in Forest and Environmental Consultory in private companies in the Brazilian forest sector.
She has experience in the themes: Forest Management, Animal-plant Interactions, Forest Dynamic, Forest Inventory, Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Neutralization, Carbon Sequestration in Forest Biomass and Necromass, Forest Ecology, Forest Restoration and Environmental Education.
