As business development manager I focus specifically on the B2C market around lifelong learning. Together with many colleagues who are involved in education for professionals, we are developing an attractive education portfolio. In this, more personalized and flexible learning trajectories, the catalyzing role of online and blended education and an up-to-date portfolio are important goals to achieve.
My role includes many issues regarding market opportunities and market research, advising on what would be good products for the individual learner within companies and working with other initiatives around (online) life learning. For example, I also collaborate with the UNL (previously VSNU) in the acceleration plan for education flexibilization and edX (as a platform for open registration courses, also for professionals).
