De coalitie heeft als doel de vitaliteit van de inwoners van de|regio Foodvalley te bevorderen.

Biography

Dr Ir Annemarie Wagemakers, Associate Professor, has wide experience with complex public health-promotion projects. Her research focuses on the combined influence of lifestyle and the social and physical environment of health and well-being in real-life settings. The research is usually based on a mixed methods design, strong stakeholder participation including low SES groups, and interdisciplinary approaches. Annemarie is project leader in the ZonMw funded projects 'Empowerment of pregnant women', Effective elements in the integral approach of overweight and obesity' and ‘Care–Sport Physical Activity Initiatives’. She is co-promotor of the projects 'Why pregnant women eat what they eat (in collaboration with Division of Human Nutrition, WUR), 'Voorstad on the Move' (in collaboration with MHS IJsselland) and 'SameNoord Wijchen (in collaboration with Radboudumc). She has coordinated and supervised several research projects, among others 'Connecting Care, Sport and Physical Activity’ (in collaboration with AMPHI), ‘Citizen Science for Public Health’ (in collaboration with RIVM), ‘Community Development Indigenous Population Australia’, 'Communities on the Move', ‘A new role for the Midwife’, ‘Building BeweegKuur (Integrated Care) Alliances’, ‘Healthy Ageing’ (AGORA) and ‘Community-Based STI/HIV Prevention’ (GG&GD Amsterdam).
