Cora van Oosten is a Human Geographer with over 25 years of international experience in landscape approaches, governance, and participatory planning. She has worked as senior adviser, project manager and team leader, usually on long term assignment in Africa, Latin America and Asia. At present, Cora is employed as senior project leader at Wageningen Centre for Development Innovation, where she is in charge of a project portfolio related to landscape approaches, landscape restoration, landscape governance and capacity development. Together with the Wageningen Forest and Nature Conservation Policy Group Cora carries out research on landscape governance capabilities, focusing on what these capabilities are, and how these can be strengthened.
Besides her work at Wageningen CDI, Cora has also been appointed as Learning Coordinator to the Global Landscapes Forum, which is the world's largest network on landscape approaches.
