I am an agricultural engineer with a PhD in Social Sciences. I work in water governance from a political ecology perspective. I am interested on understanding the diverse and complex relations among water, power and technology. I put particular attention to irrigation and development, environmental movements, megadams politics, rural-urban water governance and the relationship between water and agribusiness. Currently, I am a postdoc researcher and part of the coordinating team of Riverhood and River Commons projects. My research focuses on looking at the complex relationships between river systems, technology and society in Latin America and Europe.
