I hold a Master in Science in Public Health Nutrition and Epidemiology from Wageningen University. Currently, I work as consultant of the nutrition division of the United Nations World Food Program (WFP) in its headquarters in Rome. I am also a external PhD candidate at Wageningen University. My training and work experience have focused in conducting formative research in nutrition in Latin America, Africa, Asia and the Middle East. Since 2015 I am working on the development of a culturaly adapted nutritional supplement for adults living with HIV in sub-Saharan african countries. To do this, I am using different methods from sensory science to understand food preferences and eating behaviors of adults living with HIV.
