Biografie

Johannes is Associate Professor 'radar remote sensing' at the Laboratory of Geo-information Science and Remote Sensing, Wageningen University. He obtained his PhD (2015) from Wageningen University and his MSc (2011) from the University of Jena.

He utilizes radar remote sensing to unravel human activities in and dynamics of forest ecosystems at regional to global scales, with a strong focus on multi-sensor methods and near real-time change monitoring. He leads the radar remote sensing group and teaches radar remote sensing in the Master Geo-Information Science. A list of publications can be found via Google Scholar or ResearchGate.
