Biografie

Joost's work focuses on developing more inclusive ways of doing agribusiness. Driving his work is the question: how can we learn more effectively from the many inclusive agribusiness ventures being undertaken, and use that to inspire, informand influence new initiatives? He actively seeks collaboration with others - be they business, knowledge institutes, consultancies, donors - to share approaches, findings, experiences. An important space for that is partnership with the Farmer Income Lab, and connection to the Living Income CoP. Learning together more effectively also means collaborating more effectively, and Joost also does much on multistakeholder collaborations and public private partnerships. He helped set up and is part of the MT of the PPPLab, which seeks to enhance the relevance and effectiveness of (Dutch publicly co-funded) PPPs.
