Aglaia Fischer is a PhD candidate on the subject of circular economy. More specifically Aglaia focuses on the tension between circular business models and the institutional context. How can businesses create value in the circular economy by adapting to- or changing the rules of the playing field? Aglaia teaches in several courses about the topic of circular economy and circular business models and supervises students on related thesis topics.
Besides her role as researcher at Wageningen University, Aglaia works as project manager at Circle Economy and the Sustainable Finance Lab. In this position Aglaia guides companies and stakeholders in multidisciplinary business development trajectories.
