I am a postdoctoral researcher on water quality in the Water Systems and Global Change Group. My research ambition is to contribute to achieving water security and food security simultaneously for society. To do this, I use integrated modeling and scenario analysis approaches to address the interactions between water, food, and society and account for these interactions in future water and food management. I am involved in water quality research, with a particular emphasis on nutrient pollution. I co-developed the MARINA model to simulate river export of nutrients to seas and developed the NUFER-county model to simulate nutrient flows in the food chain of Chinese counties.
