I am an environmental engineer with two MSc in water quality management. I have worked at the Ministry of Forestry and Agriculture in Turkey for 5 years. Currently, I am an Early Stage Researcher at WUR working on H2020 MSCA-ITN-ETN-2019 (No: 860127) FertiCycle Project. My PhD topic is "Modelling the effects of bio-based fertilisers use on air and surface water pollution at basin and European scales". My research focuses on linking two models: MITERRA-Europe and MARINA to estimate the nutrient (i.e., N and P) emissions to air and surface waters caused by bio-based fertilisers in Europe, and to assess mitigation options to reduce these environmental impacts. I aim to contribute to the European environmental policy for sustainable management with my research output.
