Projecten

The resistance to antibiotics is a growing problem worldwide, and intense efforts are being made to find alternatives. Together with their team, researchers Jean-Paul Vincken and Carla Araya think that the key to a new breakthrough could lie in the defence mechanisms of plants. The molecules that (germinating) plants use to fight infection might also help us humans. Jean-Paul Vincken participates in the Fundamental Change Campaign of Wageningen University and Research with this project.
