Biografie

María A. Naranjo (PhD) is a researcher for Green Economy and Land Use at Wageningen Economic Research, with experience in management and the implementation of research projects. She completed her PhD studies at the Development Economics Group at Wageningen University. Her research focus is on understanding individual preferences and farm-level decisions via survey tools and the implementation of lab-in-the-field experiments. She holds a master’s degree in Environmental Economics and Natural Resources and worked on related topics, including voluntary environmental programs management and funding of natural protected areas, nature inclusive agriculture, farmer’s livelihoods, and living income.
