I am interested in sustainable innovation and transitions in areas such as agriculture, food, water and energy. My aim is to understand and tackle wicked problems using a systems innovation approach. This implies taking a holistic perspective to sustainability challenges by focusing on both social and technical aspects of change as well as taking a transdisciplinary approach.
Currently my work focuses on innovations and transition in agriculture and food systems. I am mainly involved in European projects (H2020) where I work with multi-stakeholder approaches, Agricultural Knowledge and Innovation Systems (AKIS), monitoring and evaluation, knowledge exchange, transition pathways towards sustainability, responsible research and innovation (RRI).
