Anke Brons is an external PhD Candidate at the Environmental Policy Group, based at Aeres University of Applied Sciences in Almere. Her PhD project addresses the question of inclusiveness and social equity in accessing healthy and sustainable food in the city.
Anke holds an MSc degree from Wageningen University in the research master program of International Development Studies. Her minor master thesis was a systematic literature review on food system governance and for her major thesis she conducted fieldwork in Paris on access to sustainable food. She also holds a bachelor (summa cum laude) in Liberal Arts of Utrecht University's honours college, University College Roosevelt. Anke worked at the Environmental Policy group as a Junior Researcher before starting her PhD in Almere.
