Folkert Boersma obtained his Ph.D in 2005 from the Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e). After a two-year postdoc at Harvard University, he worked as a research scientist at the Royal Netherlands Meteorological Institute and TU/e on a VIDI-grant. Since 2014, Boersma is as at MAQ at WU.
