Walter is a Research and Communications Officer at the Food Climate Research Network at WUR and the University of Oxford - see fcrn.org.uk and foodsource.org.uk. His interest lies in different understandings of food sustainability issues, with a particular focus on the role of science and scientific evidence in discussions around food and agriculture. Walter holds an MSc in Environmental Sciences (cum laude) from Wageningen University with a minor in Environmental Sociology. Walter has a background in Philosophy (BA) and Industrial Engineering and Management (BSc). Before joining the FCRN, he was one of the content coordinators of the WUR/AMS-Institute MOOC ‘Co-creating Sustainable Cities’.
