Gionata Leone is a Registered Technology Transfer Professional (RTTP) acting as senior adviser on policy and strategy at the Corporate Value Creation dept. Gionata gained extensive experience in setting up (genomics) service providers and in management of (green) life-sciences public/private consortia, with responsibility for development and implementation of valorisation strategies. As member of the Executive Committees, Gionata supported the foundation and developed the valorisation strategies of the public-private consortia Centre for BioSystems Genomics, with a total budget of some 100 million Euro and BioSolar Cells, with a budget of some 42 million Euro. He acted as lead negotiator for the collaboration agreements and has been the architect of major tech transfer initiatives and programs. With a previous 15 years’ experience in research, Gionata understands also scientists’ language and motives.
