Hang has been being a PhD research in ETE-Wageningen University since March 2016. Her research project is on anaerobic conversion of protein in wastewater and waste streams. She obtained MSc degree in the field of Environmental Sanitation at Ghent University, Belgium in 2009. She also has been working as a lecturer at Water Supply and Sanitation Department- National University of Civil Engineering and researcher of Institute of Environmental Science and Engineering in Vietnam for 10 years. Her R&D has central theme: Water Chemistry and Wastewater Treatment. She has research and field experience with respect to physical-chemical pretreatment methods of waste and sludge, anaerobic digestion of sludge and organic waste streams, i.e. wastewater, kitchen waste, fecal sludge and industrial residuals. She has also gain experience in anaerobic membrane in wastewater treatment recently.
