I am a researcher at Livestock and Environment department of Wageningen Livestock Research at WUR. My specialization is in Agricultural mechanization and I am applying my knowledge in applications related to improving environmental and energy consumption on livestock farms, specifically related to the carbon footprint of livestock production systems, nutrients cycling, manure management and its emissions on cattle and pig farms. I am interested in exploring the use of technology and management knowledge not only for the sake of sustainable production but also for the planet's sake.

My PhD research focused on simulation, project management and control of biogas production in a target dairy farm. I completed Masters in "Energy in Agriculture" focusing on management and optimization of energy use in dairy and poultry egg farms by applying fuzzy optimization methods and Bachelors in Agricultural Mechanization Engineering at the University of Tehran, Iran.
I have experience in Research & Development projects related to modelling and optimization, developing business models, machine learning, statistical analysis with R and MATLAB and other SA software, benchmarking and productivity assessment methods such as DEA. 

I am involved in both Dutch and international projects.
