In October 2022 I received my MSc. diploma in International Land and Water Management at Wageningen University. I specialize in sustainable land management. During my thesis, I studied multiple regenerative measures and their effect on the recovery of social, economic, and ecological systems after a forest fire in Southern Portugal.
Currently, I am working as a Junior Researcher for Wageningen Research. I am following the Traineeship 'Integrated Landscape Approach' (IGA) with 16 others. In these two years, I will work every eight months at a different research institute. Now I am working at Plant Research (BU Open Teelten) in the team ACRRES (Application Center for Renewable Resources). Here I work on multiple projects about renewable resources (e.g. biogas, green gas, and human residual flow) and agricultural practices (e.g. reduced tillage and design principles for the farm of the future). Besides my work for ACRRES I also work on two "innovation" projects about the 1) cultural and relational values attached to the integrated landscape approach and the 2) effects of soil and water-driven practices on the development of a natural soil and water system.
