Daniel is a PhD Candidate at Wageningen University and Research (WUR), the Netherlands. He holds a Collaborative MSc degree in Agricultural and Applied Economics from Egerton University, Kenya and University of Pretoria, SA. Before joining the PhD program, he worked as a research associate at International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI) in Kenya.
Daniel conducts his research within the Business Management and Organisation Group with a focus on enhancing resilience in Agrifood chains. The research is part of the larger project called the 3R (Robust, Resilient Reliable) Kenya “From Aid to Trade”. Daniel intends to examine resilience of actors within agrifood chains (mainly farms), with the ultimate aim of improving chain performance as policy change from aid to trade.
