I obtained a Bachelor's degree in Forest science from the University of Padova, where I pursued a thesis on fluvial morphology in alpine region. Afterwards, I obtained my Master's degree in Forest and Nature conservation at Wageningen University and Research. For my MSc thesis i conducted an integrated ecosystem assessment of an agroecological almonds plantation. I'm currently a Phd candidate at FEM group. My project aims to study how to hence the resilience and the mitigation potential of EU forests and how to optimize the wood production chain.
I mostly study temperate and boreal forests. I am interested on forest management, biodiversity conservation, bio-economy, agroforestry, urban forestry and ecosystem services.
