Dr. Kazuhisa Goto is a Marketing Scientist, and his current position is an Administrator for research management at the headquarters of National Agriculture and Food Research Organization: NARO, Japan. As a representative of the NARO Liaison office at WUR, Dr. GOTO is promoting collaborative work with WUR corporate strategy and account (CSA). His main mission is to create a brand new excellent collaborative research with Japan (NARO) and the Netherlands (WUR) with the account manager of Asia. Furthermore, he also has roles to encourage the exchange of scientific knowledge and expertise between both countries. NARO is focused on business-oriented research, so NARO and WUR have mutual ambitions. If you have any ideas for research or work about Japan, he is happy to discuss, develop, and possibly support your activities. Let’s create a better future society in the world around us!

1) Launch collaboration research with WUR

We value both need and business-oriented research; therefore, we select the latest research topics that potentially achieve excellent results and add high values in society. These activities are supported by the Japanese government and the Dutch government as an Agriculture dialog.

2) Future target and ambition

NARO has an ambition of expanding the cooperative activities with the Dutch government and WUR in order to solve related world issues. NARO and WUR have the same interests and have tackled the same world issues. If we cooperate together more closely and solidly, we would give even greater positive impact for global issues. We believe we can contribute to the world through our excellent knowledge and strong relationship.
