Robert Ochago is a Ph.D. candidate at Wageningen University & Research in the Netherlands. Robert served as a Program Officer-Private Public Partnerships, Market Access, and Gender with Sasakawa Africa Association-Uganda and as a Gender, Monitoring, and Evaluation specialist at the International Livestock Research Institute before starting the Ph.D. program. Ochago also worked as a teaching assistant at Busitema University's department of crop production and management.
Robert's research focuses on the design, management, and implementation of learning strategies to solve wicked problems in the food and agriculture sector. His research is part of a larger initiative known as Developing Value Chain Innovation Platforms to improve Food Security in East and Southern Africa (VIP4FS).
