I grew up in a small city of Spain, Salamanca, in which University I did my bachelor degree in Agricultural Engineering. During my bachelor studies I had a part-time job in the Orientation Service of the University of Salamanca. In that job I helped bachelor students and future students with information and advice. Moreover, during those years I contributed actively to the university's politics as I wanted to help making a better university for everyone.

After my bachelor in Agricultural Engineering I wanted to focus my studies in a technological topic. Thus I started the master programme in Biosystems Engineering at Wageningen University. During my masters I specialized in applied deep learning for agri-food robotics.

Nowadays, I'm a PhD candidate in Artificial Intelligence for agri-food robotics at Wageningen University.

My main teaching activity is developed in the Deep Learning in Data Science course, where I develop tutorials, practicals, and other coding exercises, as well as supervise group projects. Additionally, I supervise MSc and BSc thesis in agro-food robotics topics. And I've also given workshops in applied deep learning for computer vision.
