Bart is a PhD candidate at the Laboratory of Geo-Information Science & Remote Sensing. He obtained his MSc. in Geographical Information Management & Applications cum laude from Utrecht University in 2019. His PhD research is focused on rapid characterization and prediction of small-scale forest disturbance, using satellite data and artificial intelligence.
