Renée recently started as Junior Researcher at ENP focussing on the projects Blue4ALL, SOSPollution and PERMAGOV.

Interdisciplinarity has been a recurring theme throughout her studies and work. She majored in ecology during both the BSc Future Planet Studies at the Interdisciplinary Institute of the University of Amsterdam and MSc Aquaculture and Marine Resource Management at Wageningen University & Research. Her interests cover socio-ecological models and power relations within the context of international fisheries agreements and Marine Protected areas. In previous her work she experienced science-policy interactions around the topics of marine conservation and fisheries management at the Directorate General of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries of the European Commission.
