Mar Ariza-Sentís is a Ph.D. candidate in the Information Technology Group (INF) from Wageningen University & Research (WUR). She holds a 4-year diploma in Agricultural Engineering from the University of Lleida (Spain), with a minor in broadacre crops and animal production. She graduated with an MSc in Geo-Information Science from WUR, following the Data Science track. She has several years of experience working with UAV and satellite data related to agricultural purposes, such as precision fertilization and spraying. She has her own farming company devoted to the production of non-irrigated barley, wheat, and rye.
