Araceli is from Ambato, Ecuador. She is a full-time Guest PhD student. Concerning her academic formation, got a bachelor's degree in Food Engineering in her country. Then, she got a scholarship from the Carolina Foundation to study a MSc in Advances in Food Safety in Spain.
In 2018, she obtained a scholarship from Ecuadorian Government to study at Food Quality and Design Group of Wageningen University and Research (WUR). She started the PhD program in March 2019. During her PhD, she will study food safety behaviour-based approach to hygiene and safety-related practices or street food in Ecuador. Her research develops under the supervision of Dr Pieternel Luning and Dr Anita Linnemann.
