I have a background in evolutionary ecology, using quantitative methods to answer a variety of research questions. For instance I investigated the heritability of social behavior and how sociality affects genetic population structure with a combination of social network analyses, quantitative genetics and population genetics in great tits (Parus major). I investigated maternal and transgenerational effects in waterfleas (Daphnia magna). I also performed meta-analyses on the role of phenotypic plasticity in evolution.
Currently I am working on genomic prediction within the Topbreed project.
