With wide ranging academic experience in biology, environmental policy, neuroscience, global health and food systems, Adele is now working on the design of a pan-European research infrastructure to support a transition to a sustainable and healthy food system.
She received her PhD in Neuroscience from McGill University, Canada (2018), and a BSc. in Human Biology and Environmental Policy from the University of Toronto, Canada (2010). Away from academia, Adele has worked on farms and with NGO initiatives on three continents.
Based in the Netherlands since 2018, Adele is involved in urban food waste-fighting and sustainable community initiatives in Amsterdam, and enjoys gardening, DJ-ing, and using the Dutch national treasures known as the Museumkaart and Cinevillepas.
