Mohammadreza was a physics teacher with over 12 years of experience in the Iranian Ministry of Education. He has always had a great passion for learning state-of-the-art educational approaches, on top of a yearning to hone his professional skills. Therefore, he decided to continue his studies at the Ph.D. level in the field of Educational Technology at Tarbiat Modares University (TMU) as the only graduate school in Iran that admits students from all over the world for graduate and postgraduate studies.
His doctoral dissertation was devoted to designing and developing a computer-supported collaborative concept mapping environment in which he sought to tap the potential of computer-supported collaborative learning environments and concept maps as cognitive tools to enable meaningful learning in physics.
Currently, he is a full-time research at Education and Learning Sciences group at Wageningen University and Research, doing research in the field of Entrepreneurship Education in higher education.
