Yaowei Liu, born on 22, Sept. 1991, a third year visiting PhD student from Jiangnan University China. He got his bachelor in Food Science and Engineering and master degree in Food Science in his home country.
His PhD research project is to investigate the effects of industrial processes, such as spray drying, UHT and pasteurization on the active protein and lipids in milk. He also have some research interests in three-dimensional food printing technology. His research topic in WUR is to compare the effects of thermal and nonthermal proceedings on active components in fresh milk.
