Maarten Visscher is one of the (research) trainees at Wageningen Economic Research. At the moment he works on responsible research and innovation in agriculture, circular economy and measuring citizens involvement and attachment with/to nature.
Maarten Visscher holds a BA in Media and Culture and a Msc in Sociology, both from the University of Amsterdam. His research interest are broad but increasingly focus on sustainability in human behaviour and systems. He wrote his thesis on the relationship between age, period, cohort and environmental concern and worked for the MISTY-project (on migration, transformation and sustainability) after his graduation.
