I am a Bangladeshi by birth. I completed my secondary, higher secondary, BSc (Fisheries) and first MSc (Fisheries) from Bangladesh. I got a scholarship (VLIR-UOS) for MSc in Aquaculture in 2015 and successfully completed my second MSc (Aquaculture) from Ghent University, Belgium in 2017. Between 2012 and 2015, I worked for WorldFish-Bangladesh for several months as a 'Data Enumerator' and 'Personal Research Assistant'; and also worked for a shrimp hatchery for a few months as a 'Live Feed Culturist'. I have a keen interest in research in the field of Aquaculture and Fisheries. Recently (March 2020) I have started my PhD on Aquaculture and Fish Nutrition with the help of WorldFish and Wageningen University and Research (the Netherlands).
My direct supervisor is dr. ir. Johan Schrama
