After my MSc in Medical Biotechnology (University of Bologna), I joined as guest PhD student in the chair group of Food Quality and Design (FQD) and I achieved my PhD in Food Science at the Department of Agricultural Sciences of the University of Naples “Federico II (Italy) on the research topic of psychobiotics and their potential effect on mental health. I am currently doing my Post-Doc in FQD investigating the extraction of bioactive compounds from Spent Coffee Grounds (SCG) and its upcycle into a prebiotic functional food
