I am a practically-oriented and enthusiastic person interested in finding sustainable solutions to fisheries and aquaculture-related challenges. I hold a Master's degree in Aquaculture from Ghent University, Belgium and Bachelor's degree in Natural Resource Management (specializing in Fisheries) from KNUST, Ghana. My research areas include fish biology and physiology, aquaculture health and nutrition, environmental sustainability, aquaculture management and blue growth. My PhD study which I started in 2021 is a collaboration between Plant and Food Research in New Zealand and Wageningen University and Research in the Netherlands. In brief, this study is about the swimming performance and activity patterns of salmonids in both steady and unsteady flows. My supervisor is dr. ir. Arjan Palstra and my promotor is Prof. dr. ir.
